|Just three days after the Premier League season concluded, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur head to Australia for a post-season friendly on Wednesday. They will face each other at the huge Melbourne Cricket Ground, with capacity for 100,000 fans.
These two teams finished close together in the Championship, with Spurs dropping to fifth place and Newcastle just two places behind in seventh.

Newcastle manager Eddie Howe has called up 29 players for the friendlies in Australia but is missing some key players. Anthony Gordon is absent with an Achilles injury and Fabian Schar is still recovering from a hamstring strain.
Other notable absences include Sean Longstaff, Martin Dubravka, Loris Karius and Sandro Tonali, who is serving a 10-month ban for gambling. However, stars Alexander Isak and Bruno GuimarĂ£es, who scored last weekend, are available. Young talents Garang Kuol and Harrison Ashby were also called up after a loan spell.
On the Tottenham side, Cristian Romero, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Giovani Lo Celso did not travel. Injuries ruled out Richarlison, Destiny Udogie, Yves Bissouma, Timo Werner and Ben Davies.
But Spurs fans can expect to see captain Son Heung-min, Pedro Porro, Micky van de Ven, Rodrigo Bentancur, James Maddison, Brennan Johnson and Dejan Kulusevski, who scored twice against Sheffield United, in action. Additionally, young midfielders Rio Kyerematen and Leo Black joined the team for the first time.
Meanwhile, promising youngster Mikey Moore is absent as he represents England at the European Under-17 Championship.
